Do you offer complimentary coffee samples ?
For first-time buyers, our wholesale green coffee bean samples are available at USD 5 per 300g sample of Arabica, USD 3 per 300g sample of Robusta, excluding Air Freight.
This allows you to evaluate the quality of our coffee before placing your first wholesale order, while ensuring that your sample investment is credited toward your future purchase.
What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
Bank Transfer (T/T) is our standard payment method for coffee orders. For larger contracts, Letter of Credit (L/C) can be arranged upon mutual agreement.
For smaller orders or invoices, we can also accommodate alternative payment options such as PayPal and Xendit, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
What Are Your Payment Terms for Coffee Orders?
Our standard payment arrangement is 50/50:
- 50% deposit is required within a maximum of 3 days after the sales contract is signed.
- The remaining 50% balance is payable once the goods are ready for shipment and before departure. We will provide photos and videos of the prepared goods for your confirmation.
For orders with an invoice value below USD 5,000, full payment in advance (100%) is required.
For other payment arrangements, alternative terms may be discussed and agreed upon depending on the order and buyer requirements.
Why do the prices on the IPFY website change frequently?
Coffee prices fluctuate on a daily basis. Our prices are adjusted in accordance with current local and international market conditions, which can change frequently.
What Currencies Do You Accept for Payment?
Our primary payment currency is USD (US Dollar). Payments in EUR (Euro), IDR (Indonesian Rupiah), or other currencies may also be accepted, subject to prior agreement between both parties.
Are the Prices Listed on IPFY’s Website Based on FOB Terms?
Yes. Our listed coffee prices are generally quoted on an FOB (Free on Board) basis. The standard FOB point is Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, although shipment arrangements can also be made through other ports in Indonesia, depending on the buyer’s requirements and the availability of suitable shipping facilities.
Please note that freight, insurance, and other costs beyond the FOB point are not included in the listed price and can be quoted separately upon request.
Can I Purchase Less Than 1 MT?
Yes, we also accept orders below 1 metric ton (MT). However, purchases in smaller quantities are subject to our retail or small-volume pricing, which differs from our wholesale rates.
Our catalog/wholesale pricing is available for orders of 9 MT or more. For quantities below this volume, pricing will be calculated based on the selected coffee, quantity, availability, and current market conditions.

What Shipping Options Are Available?
We primarily arrange sea freight for coffee shipments, particularly for larger orders. Depending on the quantity and buyer’s requirements, shipments can be handled through either Full Container Load (FCL) or Less than Container Load (LCL) services.
For smaller or time-sensitive orders, air freight can also be arranged upon request. The most suitable shipping method will depend on the order volume, destination, and buyer’s preferred delivery schedule.
Is Shipment Insurance Included?
Shipping insurance is not included as standard in our shipping arrangements. However, insurance coverage can be requested and arranged separately by the buyer if desired.
The applicable insurance cost and coverage details will be discussed and confirmed before shipment.
Does IPFY Always Have Coffee Stock Available in Its Warehouses?
We maintain coffee stocks at our warehouses in Bogor and Garut, Indonesia, allowing us to fulfill orders efficiently depending on the coffee variety and quantity requested.
While stock is generally available, availability may vary by origin, grade, processing method, and order volume. Once the contract has been signed, shipments are generally scheduled at least one month after the contract date to allow sufficient time for preparation, quality control, and export arrangements.

How Long Does It Take to Ship After Payment?
Our standard lead time is approximately one month. Shipment preparation begins after the sales contract has been signed and the agreed advance payment has been received.
This period allows us sufficient time to prepare the coffee, complete quality checks, arrange export documentation, and coordinate the shipping schedule. Actual delivery timing may vary depending on the order volume and shipping arrangements.
Will IPFY Handle the Export Documentation?
Yes. Our team will take care of the necessary export documentation and coordinate the required paperwork for your shipment.
All documents will be prepared according to applicable export regulations and the specific requirements of the destination country, helping ensure a smooth and efficient shipping process.
What Certifications Can IPFY Provide?
IPFY can provide several certificates and export documents depending on the product and buyer’s requirements.
These include Phytosanitary Certificate, Halal Certificate, PEB, Certificate of Origin (SKA/COO), COA, and Cupping Report.
The availability of COA and Cupping Report depends on the coffee product and the buyer’s request.
Does IPFY Assist with Customs Clearance?
IPFY will prepare the required export documents for your shipment. However, customs clearance in the destination country is the buyer’s responsibility.
The buyer is responsible for preparing the necessary import documents, customs clearance, duties, taxes, and other requirements according to the regulations of their country.
Does IPFY sell roasted coffee beans and green coffee beans?
No, IPFY only sells green coffee beans. We do not sell roasted coffee beans. Our green coffee beans are sourced and selected with care to maintain consistent quality for our customers.
We offer our green coffee beans for both retail and wholesale purchases. This allows customers to order according to their needs, whether they are looking for a small quantity for personal use or a larger quantity for business purposes.
Does IPFY Assist with Customs Clearance?
IPFY will prepare the required export documents for your shipment. However, customs clearance in the destination country is the buyer’s responsibility.
The buyer is responsible for preparing the necessary import documents, customs clearance, duties, taxes, and other requirements according to the regulations of their country.
What are the dimensions of the jute bags used to package the coffee beans?
Our jute coffee bags measure 117 × 73 cm and weigh approximately 1,000 g per bag. Each bag has a capacity of up to 60 kg of coffee beans, making it suitable for both storage and export shipments.
How Does IPFY Ensure Coffee Quality Before Shipment?
All coffee is carefully checked before shipment, including moisture content and taste. We make sure the coffee is freshly harvested and meets the buyer’s requirements before shipping. Photos and videos of the products are also shared with the buyer before shipment.
Buyers are welcome to visit our location and inspect the products themselves. We can also provide pre-shipment samples upon request.
What Coffee Grades Are Available at IPFY?
IPFY offers several coffee grades, including both Arabica and Robusta:

Does IPFY Comply with International Food Safety Regulations?
Yes. IPFY coffee complies with international food safety standards, including European Union pesticide residue limits and U.S. FDA requirements.
We carefully maintain the quality and safety of our coffee to meet the requirements of international buyers and destination markets.
Laboratory testing can also be arranged upon request, depending on the buyer’s requirements and the specific coffee product.
Can I Visit the IPFY Warehouse and Plantation?
Yes, visits to our warehouse and plantation are possible. To maintain a comfortable working environment, we currently welcome visits from customers who have already purchased coffee from us.
For first-time buyers, we kindly require the order invoice to be settled before arranging a visit. This helps us confirm that the visit is connected to an actual purchase.
This policy allows our team to manage our time, staff, and facilities more efficiently while giving every customer proper attention during their visit.
